Outclass started with an idea: to create a Canadian-made menswear brand that produces quality-driven, timeless clothing for the modern man. Creator and designer Matteo Sgaramella draws inspiration from his Canadian/Italian heritage, integrating sophisticated Italian styling and manufacturing techniques with durable materials suitable for the Canadian environment. Rebecca Sarracini, Matteo’s life and business partner, has been an integral part of the business since its inception, handling all production and business operations.

Matteo combed the Greater Toronto Area to find the factories, each specializing in different garment styles. Outclass shirting is produced by a third-generation, family-run factory in North York; bottoms are made on Spadina Avenue, in one of the last factories in Toronto's historic garment district. The close proximity to the factories allow us to make frequent visits and take a hands-on approach ensuring all quality standards are met. Materials are sourced responsibly, and Canadian-made fabric is used whenever possible to reduce our ecological footprint.
